The second Bundesliga adventure of SPVGG Greuther Fürth is coming to an end. The clover loan also lost 1: 2 (0: 1) at co-seeker VfL Bochum and continued its miserable away series.
With further only a single point in foreign stadiums, the residue of the francs on the first non-relegation Square nine rounds before the end has grown to eleven counter.
With the victory against the bottom of the table, the VfL ended a disappointing week with unfortunate defeats in the Bundesliga against RB Leipzig (0: 1) and in the cup against Sc Freiburg (1: 2). With 32 points, the Westphalia now have nine counter lead on the relegation place.
Three days after the last minute-k.o. Against Freiburg, Maxim Leitsch brought the VFL in the lead (35th). The 23-year-old had caused the late goal in the extension.
But Bochum’s coach Thomas rice had pronounced trust in the center defender and repeatedly invoked him to the starting eleven. An own goal of Armel Bella Kotchap (64.) brought Fürth, which continues to wait for the first away win in the Bundesliga since 4 May 2013 (2: 0 at the VFB Stuttgart) at the first descent, the compensation. VFL Bochum confirms “Favorite Rolle”
For the first time since its Bundesliga return after eleven years, the Bochumer went as “favorite” in the game, as rice confirmed, “but caution is commanded”.
